Description
Love spoons are ornately carved wooden spoons, and they were made and used by at least three of the four branches of the Brythonic Celtic peoples: the Welsh, the Chiltern Celts and the Bretons.
The best known examples are the Love Spoons of Wales, the stock in trade today of most of the tourist shops in the principality. The oldest example known for certain is dated to 1667.
